Always fun and accommodating “I’ve been out fishing with Captain Doug about 6 Times now and we ALWAYS have a great time. You will catch something, and even novices are helped with all aspects in a friendly and non-condescending way. He is prepared and knowledgeable and even fun to talk with! He wastes no time hanging around waiting for a bite. Many fishing sites to choose from. Highly recommended!”

Captain Doug was great and so was the fish! “We found captain Doug using trip advisor and he had very good ratings. We called a week in advance and he was able to fit us in for a family friendly fishing charter. Captain Doug was very knowledgable about the area and fish and super friendly. We caught a variety of fish. The price was good and it was nice to be able to just go out with our own party of four and not have to go with a huge group on a big boat. Captain Doug provided drinks on the boat as well as filleted the fish and took a photo of us holding the fish at the end. Altogether it was a great experience.”

Charter was perfect. Captain Doug was very accommodating to my time restrictions and got us right on fish. I’ve been on several different charters in Sarasota and I would definitely call Capt Doug again!

My wife, my 21 year old son and 6 year old daughter chartered a 4 hour trip with Captain Doug. It was a great trip for everyone! Doug was very patient and friendly with this diverse age group! He also put us on the fish. We had action pretty much the entire time including a 4 foot shark. I’m ready to cook up all the mangrove snapper we caught! We all highly recommend Captain Doug for fishing charters!

What A Great Adventure!
This was our second trip with Captain Doug. He makes it a special experience for our entire family and puts a great deal of effort into ensuring that the kids really get a great adventure. So much fun with Captain Doug! This was our second time with Captain Doug. We took both our 7 year old and 2 year old out. He definitely has a way with kids 🙂 My son absolutely loved fishing with him ( as did we). We always catch fish and then Captain Doug filets it up and we take it over to a local Tiki Bar to cook. I highly highly recommend fishing with Captain Doug!
