I love fishing with artificial lures, but shore / wade fishing is the one time I’ll make an exception. When fishing from shore you are primarily sitting still and waiting for fish to come to you. Casting and reeling artificials like you’re in a bass tournament is just not the right thing for me. I’ve tried just about every kind of bait when shore fishing and a fresh Phat Shrimp is hard to beat. Simply stop by Hart’s Landing Bait Shop, tell them Cap’n Doug sent y’all and buy a dozen shrimp. It stays on the hook better than frozen shrimp and you better be ready for some drag pulling action! Cap’n Doug
